Small but imposing traditional street-corner local, named after Thomas Sekforde, a distinguished lawyer and patron of literature. Sekforde Street and the pub were built between 1835 and 1840. Winner of Islington in Bloom 2010 and a gold award by the RHS.

Open fires in the winter, and delightful outside seating for the summer.

Traditional pub classics served daily. Award winning pub with Cask Marque recognition and also Best Bar None accredited.

Private function room upstairs for up to 60 people (40 seated) with a choice of buffet menus.
